Home Dog Boarding vs Dog Kennels in Wigan

Many pet owners searching for dog kennels in Wigan are now choosing home boarding as a more relaxed and personal alternative.

Traditional kennels can sometimes feel overwhelming due to noise levels and unfamiliar surroundings. Our home-based approach provides a quieter, more comfortable experience where your dog receives individual attention and care.

She loves it and is always happy and exited when she realises where she is going. Very handy for last minute overnight stays as well if there is room. Always clean and exhausted from all the playing when we pick her up. Would not hesitate in recommending Pet Getaway as it is home from home. Absolutely brilliant!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Colleen looks after my 2 dogs 1 is a rescue dog and 1 is an old dog age 17 years. I would not trust anyone else. Colleen is so lovely goes above and beyond. She sends little videos and photographs to me whilst I’m away. My girls love staying with Colleen and they have always got on with the other dogs. Colleen is caring and treats my girls as though they were hers. They have lots of walks and play time. Colleen is very proactive in health monitoring with my older dog. They always come home happy with waggy tails and fluffy brushed fur. 100% can recommend home from home atmosphere very secure cozy and hygienic with piece of mind in a nutshell the best

If Hugo could write this review, it would be 10 stars 🐶✨
Amazing staff, nonstop playtime, and ALL the love. He practically drags me to the door every morning and comes home happy, exhausted, and living his best life (which is honestly the dream). Knowing Hugo is so well cared for while I’m away means everything. So grateful we found this place—hands down the best doggy day care around!

Colleen is amazing I have been taking Leo to stay with her when we go on holiday for the past 4 years and he absolutely loves it. He is always so excited to see her and it’s gives me such peace of mind when I go away knowing how well he is looked after. She also sends pictures and video’s when you are away to ensure you know everything is ok. I would highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Daisy has been going to Colleen’s since she was a puppy and loves it there with all her mates. She comes home tired and sleepy. I never have a moments worry when she stays there when I go on holidays. Could not have wished for a nicer holiday home Highly recommended by Daisy and me Thanks Colleen xxx
